Tredegar Arms Hotel

About

The Hotel was built in the late 1820's and was originally owned by the Global Iron and Steel Barons Guest, Keen and Nettlefold (GKN). In 1900 the hotel was sold to John Basageleo whose father came to Merthyr from Italy to work as a miner and found work in a local drift mine.

The Hotel has been run by the same family for the last 10 years in which time we have built a good reputation serving fine ales and beer. We have ample car parking at the rear of the premises. You can enjoy a tasty bar meal with a lunchtime drink or sit and relax with friends.
