The year is 1326 and King Edward II is experiencing some trouble. The King is losing support across his realm and must decide whether to stay within the barricades of Caerphilly Castle or flee, leaving his piles of money and glimmering jewels behind. Visitors are invited to pick a side as the story unfolds in a series of live-action performances throughout the day. The question is not ‘whether’ enemy forces will launch an almighty siege on the castle, but ‘when’…?
No booking required. The event is free but general site admission applies.
