The Valleys provide a fantastic landscape for a whole host of adventures. Here Kim and Tim discover that it's never too late to take on a new challenge, and that The Valleys is a great place to get out and do something new, as well as providing loads of opportunities to revisit well loved sites.
They created their adventures at:
Across The Valleys there are loads of great places to get active.
Mountain View Ranch has high ropes as well as the segways and a host of great children's adventures - a great place for the whole family. There are loads of great parks across The Valleys - how about Bryngarw Country Park where you can follow the Keepers Trail, or Bedwellty House and Park with the grotto and story of the largest piece of coal!
Castles - we have great castles - each on of them unique. As well as Caerphilly with its leaning tower, how about Ogmore Castle or Coity Castle? Then, inland, how about the remains of Morlais Castle high above Merthyr Tydfil or a much more recent "castle", Cyfarthfa Castle, the former home of the ironmaster? Then, of course, we've got Castell Coch, a magical adventure!
The Garw Valley and the hills that surround it, give majestics views across The Valleys and over the water to the West Country. Then the view from the Rhigos Mountain into the Brecon Beacons is stunning. It has to be said that the views across The Valleys are some of the best in Wales - make a point of taking one of the mountain routes and you'll be surprised - its like a different world. A real #ValleysAdventure!
