Fractional ownership scheme on beautiful Italian home

Outright ownership of your dream holiday home can often lead to piles of paperwork, costly renovations, constant outgoings for maintenance and worries about security – but with our overseas property of the week, which is available through a fractional ownership scheme, things just got a little easier.

Set in its own private grounds with breathtaking views over the Adriatic Sea, Casa Giacomo is an Italian holiday home that’s both luxurious and surprisingly affordable, thanks to a fractional ownership opportunity.

Casa Giacomo is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom property boasting more than 2,000 sq ft spread across two very spacious floors. It’s set alongside another holiday home in two acres of land, which houses landscaped gardens, a tennis court and a vineyard.

The estate has been redeveloped by Appassionata, a boutique, family-owned business run by entrepreneur Michael Hobbs and his interior designer wife Dawn Cavanagh-Hobbs, who came up with the stunning design scheme that creates such a feeling of calm throughout the property.

As you can imagine, a property as beautiful as Casa Giacomo wouldn’t normally come cheap – which is why Appassionata is offering a shared ownership scheme instead. In fractional ownership, running costs are shared by several co-owners, with each investor getting a stake in the company, in this case Appassionata, and therefore a ‘fraction’ of the deed. Buyers can then sell their share or rent out the property as they please.

Casa Giacomo has been divided into ten equal shares and it’s no surprise that 40 per cent has already been snapped up by bargain hunters.

A ten per cent share entitles you to five weeks’ use of the property (when you can either visit, leave it empty or rent it out) and costs £99,000. For more information, visit Appassionata.com.
