Harrison Ford has put his luxurious Manhattan penthouse apartment on the market.
The movie star is said to have bought the property shortly after splitting from his ex – around about the same time that he got his ear pierced, shortly before he started seeing now-wife Calista Flockhart.
Harrison Ford co-designed his home with architecture firm 1100. The Hollywood actor was no doubt able to draw on skills gained during his former life as a carpenter once it was being built – and now this celebrity dwelling can be yours for a cool $16m (£10.32m).
So, what lies beyond the front door? As well as four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, there’s a state-of-the-art kitchen, library, private elevator, gym, office, and stunning 2,330sq ft balcony offering views across Manhattan and the Hudson river.
Gossip-lovers take note: residents of neighbouring buildings have shared a rather saucy secret… Apparently the handsome devil is often to be seen wandering around the apartment in nothing but his pants. If you’re the lucky so-and-so that ends up snapping this place up, we’d recommend installing blinds – and using them.
